Security and Privacy for System Protection (SP^2) FNR/PRIDE 2016-2020

Security and Privacy for System Protection (SP^2) FNR/PRIDE, 2016-2020, (coordinated by Prof. Mauw)

IRiSC is actively participating in an interdisciplinary FNR-funded programme under the PRIDE scheme, which is FNR’s main programme for funding doctoral research in Luxembourg.

We are part of the Doctoral Training Unit (DTU) on Security and Privacy for System Protection (SPsquared) / SP2, one of the 11 DTUs awarded during the first PRIDE call.

The research challenges that the SP2 program addresses, are united under five different themes: (i) number theory, cryptography and cryptographic protocols; (ii) implementation of cryptography; (iii) Internet privacy; (iv) system security; and (v) socio-technical security.

We are particularly active along the socio-technical security dimension, working along with other members of the DTU coming from different corners of the University, and collaborating closely with the Human Computer Interaction Group
